One at a time the windows are  installed. They consist of high quality, high impact glass.(protective glass)

The windows shown in this photo for example lock in 4 different places.

October 20th through October 25th

Installation of water and sewer lines.

The water and sewer lines underground are extended through the inside walls, so that all sanitary objects like sink, showers and toilets can be connected. Sealed PVC pipes are used for this purpose.

The sewer lines are led through the inside walls to the top to be connected within the roof construction and extended over the roof and ventilated on each side of the house.

October 26th through October 30th

Recessed lighting cans are installed into the roof bars.

Underneath the roof construction all electric wiring for appliances, tv, phone, alarm system and surround sound are installed through the inside walls. In order to cover up and finish the outside walls small slots are inserted.

On the outside wall of the house the electricity meter box is installed so that the power company may read the power usage once a month without having to enter the home.

October 28th – November 6th

Inside the roof construction all pipes for the air conditioning system are installed and all devices for the system are connected.

Inside of the house two condensing units are installed to give the house two separate climate zones. This equipment will not only let the owner control the temperature in both zones but will also reduce the humidity.

The air conditioning system also serves as a heating system.

November 8th through November, 14th

The entire roof is insulated with spray foam. Once sprayed into the roof area the foam stretches into an approx. 8 inch thick insulation within a short time period. This insulation is applied to the underside of the roof plates in order to protect the attic as well as all the A/C and electrical equipment installed there from any harm.

The spray foam is also applied to all holes drilled into the inside walls up to the ceiling for extra insulation as well as noise reduction.

The inside walls are insulated with approx. 2.5 inch thick fiberglass mats.

November 16th - November 23th

The inside walls and ceilings are now covered with drywall.

November 23th - November 30th

The seams of the drywall are now hardcoated and areas for outlets and wall switches are now cut out.
