Buggy Races
In January, March and October races take place. Florida Sport Park
is especially great because of marshy grounds which can be ridden
through with buggies. The arrangement lasts approx. 4 hours with
running several different vehicle types. Climax of the arrangement
is the Bath
of the Swamp
Buggy Queen in the deepest mud hole of the racing distance.
Prices for youngsters 13 years and older is 18 dollars, children

Collier
County Fair
Every year in March. To get there take I-75 exit to Immokalee Road
(approx. 10 miles to the east of the exit) for 11 days of fun fair!
Beside different rides, animal exhibits and competitions, the food

Naples Snow Fest
Since 1985,
Naples
has winter scenery for one day in December. This is a party in which
70 tons of snow are distributed in the Golden Gate
Community
Park, a steady event which draws more than 15,000 people. Many more
additional program are offered, in particular, for children a
gigantic children's slide, climb wall or ice skate roads. The entry

Taste
of Collier
Taste of Collier is on the first Sunday in May between 12:00P.M. and
4:00P.M. This event offers the possibility to eat at 30 of the best
bars in the county. In the supporting program, local artists appear.
In 2007, the event took place for the first time in the Bayfront
center. The proceeds beneficent a good cause. The entry costs 5
dollars per person (from 6 years). You pay for every snack an
additional 1 to 4 dollars.
Country Jam Naples
This is a three day festival in the outdoors in March where American
Country stars appear and perform. There is pony horse riding, a
petting zoo and a climbing wall for the children. The entry is 20

The Festival is always on the first weekend in February. The Seafood
festival takes place for thr

in Everglades
City. Beside for a wide choice in Seafood food, country stars come
to perform. The entry is free. Parking costs approx. 4 dollars.

Festival
In January and March, this nationwide, famous arrangement takes
place in "
The
Promenade ”
in Bonita Springs.
At the art fair many of the exhibits can be acquired. The best
artist in every category gets an award.
Big fireworks
Every year a large fireworks display takes place on the 4th
of July
(Independence Day)
at 9:00 P.M. and on New Year's Eve at 8:00P.M. on the Naples pier.

around the Collier
County Museum
In the last weekend in March the history of Florida (Indian, Spanish
discovery, colonist.) come to life with this 2-day festival all over
the county museum. The entry for adults is 5 dollars; children
8 years and older pay 2 dollars.
Art market in New Year's Eve
On the 30th
and 31st of December on

Avenue, a big art market takes place in which numerous artists prove
their abilities on site and sell their products.
Naples Bay Boat
Parade
At the beginning of December, a parade of
nicely decorated boats takes place in the bay
of Naples.
There are prizes for the best boat in its category!
Christmas Celebration in the Naples Zoo
Two weeks before Christmas, you can observe the animals in the zoo
celebrating there own Christmas. The lions may dig their claws in
nicely packed presents,
the hyenas
receive candy canes
(from frozen blood) and the monkeys may do gymnastics on Christmas
